Musclegain
Then, sometime a year ago or so, I came across an article on Anthony Ellis. Anthony was the grand finalist in the Body for Life contest, a nation-wide contest to see who could change their body the most in 12 weeks. Here’s Anthony’s before and after photos:

Obviously, that’s a lot of muscle! He gained 32lbs of muscle in only 12 weeks. My “bullshit” detector went off, but I decided to visit his site http://www.musclegaintips.com/ anyway. I read his landing page, which explains how he developed the program and some of the myths of gaining mass. I found his writing to be compelling, but was most impressed with what was included with the package. After some time considering the price, I jumped in and placed an order for the hardcopy of the book.
When I received the materials, I have to say I was blown away. The quality and presentation of the materials was head-and-shoulders above other bodybuilding materials I’ve seen.
The kit was hefty and included a 240 page bound book, A mass gaining book with comprehensive charts and worksheets for 20 weeks, A fat loss book with detailed worksheets, as well as access to private forums and workout tracking software. Even before reading the material, I felt that I got my moneys worth and was excited to dive in.
Reading through the material, I found Anthony to write in a clear, intelligent manner. The writing was much more professional than most fitness e-books out there, and he presents his program in a very calculated, precise format.
Getting down to the program itself, Anthony lays out a very logical way to gain mass. The program requires you to be precise with your diet and workout plan, but he gives you a plan to do exactly that. Based off of your weight, you plan your supplement intake, diet and workout routine for each day. You also record your results to make sure your are progressing and to tweak your routine if you need to.
So does it work? For me, yes. The program worked very well for me. It requires discipline to plan your calorie intake and supplements each day, but I made copies of the worksheets to take to work and stuck with the program. I gained about 17 lbs of muscle after 12 weeks of the program. Was that as good as Anthony’s 32 lbs? No, but until trying this program I literally couldn’t gain a pound. If you have better genetics than me, I’m sure you can gain even more while on the program.
Overall, I think Anthony’s program is the best of it’s kind. If you have never been able to gain weight, give the program a try. He offers a 100% money back guarantee, so there’s really no risk. If you follow the program consistently, I think you will me amazed at the results.
